A solid gold star shows that you have completed an activity with a score above the target score for your course. A shaded star means you've not yet achieved the target score. You can test your progress by repeating the activity later.
If you are a Primary or Secondary student, a bronze medal indicates completion of an activity, and a gold medal shows you've achieved a high score.
An outline star or medal indicates that you have submitted a writing or speaking activity but your teacher has not yet marked it.
If you are a Primary or Secondary student, a shaded medal indicates that you may be awarded a bronze medal for completing the activity, or a gold medal for achieving a high score.
