Can I ask a student who has already submitted a test to start again with a new attempt?

It depends on the test. Unit Progress Tests allow for two attempts. Others, including Test & Train Timed Practice Test and the Empower Competency Test, only allow a single attempt.

If I still need to do this, is there anything I can do?

• If you are part of an institution with a school account, you can ask your school administrator about creating a ‘progress reset’ class. These classes reset the students’ scores and progress back to the start. For more information on these classes, read: What does ‘Progress reset’ mean?

• If you are an independent teacher, please Contact us with the following information:

1. 1. Username or email address of the student. 
   2. Affected test including Course name, Unit number/Test name. E.g: Empower Second Edition Elementary > End of course Reading Competency Test.
